Programs
CyberStitchers has three major programs in 2006:
-
Petite Projects are small projects that are
generally designed by EGA members and made available to chapters
and individual members. Each project demonstrates a
specific technique.
-
Group Correspondence Courses (GCCs) are
courses in specific techniques taught by EGA teachers. They
are several-month long projects done as a group. The
teacher supplies texts, expertise and a critique of participants'
projects. Work is done independently and submitted for
comment at the end of the class, if desired. You can see
the entire National
catalog of GCCs on the National EGA web site.
-
The Stitch A Month (SAM) program offers
instruction in a new stitch each month so that we can expand our
knowledge of different stitches, including the history of the
stitch and several variations.
|
Other programs include the President's Challenge and various exchanges.
If you have any questions about any of our programs, please contact
our Education Chair,
Anne.
